General Abstract Presentations

  • YIA Award (Presentation: 6 minutes, Discussion: 4 minutes / Total: 10 minutes)
  • Oral Communication (Presentation: 5 minutes, Discussion: 3 minutes / Total: 8 minutes)
  • Oral Poster (Presentation: 3 minutes, Discussion: 2 minutes / Total: 5 minutes)

* Please strictly observe the allotted presentation time.

1. Presentation Method

In principle, oral presentations at this academic meeting will be conducted using PCs prepared by the Secretariat.
As in previous years, all presenters are requested to register their presentation data at the PC Desk.

  1. Presentations will be delivered using a PC.
    If your presentation data contains video files, please inform the staff at the PC Desk in advance.
    (Applies to all presentations, including Oral Posters)
  2. Please be seated at the “Next Presenter Seat” located at the front of the session room at least 10 minutes before the start of your session.
  3. Please bring your presentation data on a USB flash drive. Accepted formats are Windows PowerPoint or PDF.
  4. Please complete data submission and preview at the PC Desk at least 60 minutes prior to your presentation.
    * Presenters scheduled for the first session on Day 1 or Day 2 are requested to visit the PC Desk by 8:30 a.m.
  5. The PowerPoint “Presenter View” function is available.
  6. As the number of PCs at the PC Desk is limited, please refrain from making extensive revisions that require prolonged use of the registration PCs.

2. Preparation of Presentation Data

■ YIA Award and Oral Communication

  1. There is no limit to the number of slides; however, please ensure that your presentation fits within the allotted time.
  2. Please disclose any Conflict of Interest (COI) on the second slide of your presentation.
    For a sample COI disclosure slide, please refer to “6. Conflict of Interest (COI)” on the Abstract Submission page .
  3. Please prepare your presentation data in a 16:9 aspect ratio.
  4. The presentation language differs depending on the presentation date.
    Please confirm your presentation schedule and prepare your materials in the appropriate language.
    ・March 14 (Sat): English presentation
    ・March 15 (Sun): Japanese presentation
  5. The PowerPoint “Presenter View” function is available.
  6. As the number of PCs at the PC Desk is limited, please refrain from making extensive revisions that require prolonged use of the registration PCs.

* YIA Award presentations will be conducted in English only.


■ Oral Poster Presentation

  1. A maximum of one PowerPoint slide may be used. As the presentation time is very short (3 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for discussion), please prepare a concise poster-style slide summarizing key points and deliver a clear presentation.
  2. Please prepare your slide using the template below as a reference. You may also use your own template if preferred.
  3. The content should be relevant to the theme and presented in a clear and understandable manner.
  4. The presentation language differs depending on the presentation date.
    Please confirm your presentation schedule and prepare your materials in the appropriate language.
    ・March 14 (Sat): English presentation
    ・March 15 (Sun): Japanese presentation
  5. There is no need to print the slides you have prepared.
    As they will be projected on the screen, please be sure to submit your data at the PC Desk.

4. Information for Session Chairs

Session Chairs are requested to be seated at the “Next Chair Seat” located at the front right side of the session room at least 15 minutes prior to the start of their assigned session.
